Summer of Challenges - Oceans of Possibilities

It's well recognised that children’s reading levels can often slip over the summer holidays. Halting the summer slide can be as simple as encouraging kids to read over the summer break.
 

For those aged 2-13 years, enrol for our Oceans Of Possibilities.
 

How it works

Register – registrations open on 3rd Dec 2021, register below to join in the fun.

​

Collect – from the 13th of December come in and collect your challenge sheet. To get you started we’ll give you a book to keep.
 

Be Involved – write a review about the book we gave you on the library catalogue and complete challenges over the summer. Watch out for new challenges in the library and on Facebook. 
 

Share – once you’ve completed a challenge tell us about it by emailing us or by coming into the library. If you’ve made or drawn something, bring that in too and we’ll display it in the library. 
 

Be in to win – each time you complete a challenge and tell us about it by emailing or coming into the library, we’ll enter you into the next draw to win an awesome prize.  
 

From 24th Jan we’ll be displaying your artworks, poems, stories and creations in the libraries.  Complete the feedback form and we’ll put you in the draw to win a great selection of books.
