Homelink

What is Homelink?

Homelink is a free, contactless home delivery service provided by the WLS for our library customers.

Who can sign up for Homelink?

Homelink is for people who are:

  • isolating, ill, recuperating or unable to leave their home for any other reason

  • unable to place reservations online themselves

  • are happy for librarians to carefully select books for them based on their reading preferences

  • unable to come into the library and wish to have a package of books delivered.

How do I sign up for Homelink?

To access Homelink you will need to register over the phone or via an online form.

We will ask you a few questions so we know what types of books you like to read and/or which authors are your favourites. This information will help us to choose the best items that we can for you.
This will only take a few minutes of your time.

How do I get my books?

Every three weeks librarians will choose up to 12 items on your behalf. These items will then be delivered to your door or gate and we will collect the items you are returning.

Our delivery schedule is:

Thursdays 3 weekly for the Carterton & South Wairarapa District
